We offer violin, viola, and cello instruction to students ages four and up in San Diego County, as well as early childhood classes for children under four years old in our Little Treble Makers program. Online and in-person class options are available. Individual studio locations listed below.

Comprehensive program: individual and group lessons are used to develop technique, musicianship, ensemble playing, parent training, music theory, sight-reading, and improvisation. All students attend both private and group lessons weekly.

What is included in Our Program?
Main Program:
- Private Lessons - Held weekly at individual instructor's studio locations. This is where individual progress takes place.
- Group Lessons - Held weekly at the Jewish Community Center. All students participate in both private and group lessons as they are equally important learning environments that support each other in the Suzuki Method. For the many benefits of group lessons go HERE.
- Solo Recitals - Individual student performances that allow students a chance to share their hard work and joy for music. Solo recitals happen twice a year.
- Group Recitals - Large group performances that allows the entire school a chance to play together and showcase their ensemble skills. Group recitals happen twice a year.
- San Diego Suzuki Chamber Orchestra (SDSCO) - An orchestra preparatory group for intermediate level and up students. They rehearse in Carmel Valley and perform each semester in various locations.
- Community Concerts - A more casual, elective performance opportunity with the goal of community outreach. A variety of performance venues will be presented to the students each semester with a limited number of slots available. Families can choose to participate as space allows.
